Everton 0-2 Man Utd

Very good result in what was a potentially tricky opener for United. Ruud and Rooney scoring was good. United dominanted and it was a good all round performance by all accounts. That much was clear from the radio despite Alan 'I hate Fergie and United' Green. United had to start like this otherwise Chelsea are just going to run away with it. If United's top players can just stay fit...

Good to see Teddy Sheringham still scoring at the age of what must be 59.

I've never seen a soccer game. I confess. I've seen a few minutes but never a whole game. I like college basketball. Go Blue Devils! (Duke U.).

Soccer is one of the few sports that are exciting to watch even when you're not participating and probably the only one that can retain excitement to the television screen!

Go the All-Whites! (and Man Utd!)

I'm predicting Arse and Chelski will both win four goals to nil on the morrow.

That's the spirit Steph!

Well Jim, I reckon there are certain similarities: the hope that your team will gome good, they nearly do, they fail, and an empty feeling inside. Then the tought, is football/basketball (delete where applicable) really worth this?!!

Jason, what about Wigan, eh? Not quite what we all thought.
