Live from Philadelphia

Well most of Sheffield arrived today. Not going to bore people with the flight as nothing unusual happened, although immigration did ask me if Jesus was married. Here's a picture of the room me and Keith Whitelam share. No pictures of either of us so the only fair thing is to pointlessly show a picture of the room.

Those pillows look like they might squeak - or bounce. Too many too big too hard too much starch. Sleeping on sand could be softer. Just envious.

I've heard that there is lots of scintillating conversation going down at Monks this weekend...

No, Keane was pushed off the plank. Gravesen is now part of the discussion. Man, what a signing that would be. Also Ballack, Maniche, Gatuso, and even Stevie G (an impossibility). But they need a tiger. And soon. I think Madrid might sell Gravesen--just as they did with Owen, they could turn a significant profit and they've got enough players they might not miss him too much.

So what did you tell the immigration guy about Jesus? I had a Dutch security official ask me what the Greek version of the OT was called once. I was tempted to say, "The Greek Old Testament" or "Philo's Bible" but I refrained...
