And even more...

Alan Bandy has managed to get even more scholars to interview on faith and scholarship. This time Craig Evans and Darrell Bock.

Update: And now Mark Goodacre.

Perhaps he should ask the RH Professor Maurice Casey for a bit of balance. I'm really hoping the beloved bish isn't next. Then again, it's all good fun.

I too think that the interviews are one sided. Of course, that's Alan's privilege. But a discussion of scholarship and the differences between a faith approach and a secular approach should have more than one secular voice in contrast to 5 or 6 evangelicals.

Speaking of the beloved bish, he is appearing with the esteemed Anne Rice at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco on May 14. The two Greats?

Since you mentioned it, I invited Maurice Casey about a week ago, but I have yet to hear back from him.

I have also asked others who have respectfully declined.

More to come.
