The End of Wrong?

Is it the end of NT Wrong? I hope not. In the words of KC and the Sunshine Band, Please Don't Go! There are many good reasons for Wrong to continue (arguably the smartest blog around is one) but one of the best has to be the relatively high level of swear words. But remember, Wrong's finished before and came back so there is hope...

Actually he's not gone away, he's travelling through a wormhole in space morphing from one to another, and another and another ad infinitum - a divergent infinite series without limit in mathematical terms - so don't give up on God just yet.

Like God all he wanted to do was ask the other cretins questions and provide no answers. Isn't that what academics do? Eisenman, bless him, has multiple allusions and no conclusions. But N T has multiple confusions - you know his 100 pis.... reasons and all that - the scholars are waiting impatiently for his book to come out. In fact confusion seems to be the name of NT's (JG's) game. It doesn't really matter what the answers are so long as there is no general agreement, no concensus - just look at the Infidel's site where JG and his other aliases post. The church and papa then remain the authority, and now you can understand where NT/JG is coming from. NT/JG is not just about fun.

God is coming of Feb 1. Dr West is going to interview him. The video will be on Westy's weblog. But mind that he doesn't materialise from the computer screen having travelled through the ether. Jimmy will be wearing that red outfit that we saw on NT's blog.

I wrote there: "You are talking about yourself of course." So what can you expect about Jimmy's revelations re. N T Wrong?

This fella does love to point the finger. He would clear the jails in a Jimmy, er jiffy, saving the taxpayer loads.

Make sure the children are in bed come Feb 1. It could be a horror movie starring one of Westy's minimalist cronies like professor Philip Davies, or any of the famous five for that matter, back from the dead.

Better to talk to yourself that a load of imaginary fictional chararacters, eh 'Steph'!

James F. McGrath knows full well that Jimmy deletes my comments from his blog.

How naive can Baptist ministers get, Simon? And 'Steph' eggs you on. So an archaeologist william-dever has 100 piss... reasons and all that Greek crap!

Lets see when Jimmy boy brings-out his video of the interview. Even if he does, you wouldn't put it past him to employ one of his minimalist cronies to stand in for william_dever aka JG, er sorry JG, I meant NTW, really n_twit.

Be warned that NT/JG is a genius at doing voiceovers - you could have heard him here http://www.voicesunlimited.com/male.html but for some strange reason, access to the site is now strangely forbidden. For JG/NTW william_dever's voice would be no problem. In JG's own words written in 2006: "Laugh all you want. But my having this voice allowed me to earn in December of last year over $12,000 for just half an hour's studio session time. I'm laughing all the way to the bank.
Jeffrey"

So may be it's confessions we want, not interviews.

James F. McGrath doesn't know what or whom Geoff is talking about. But I do think it is interesting what happens if you place your mouse over the "That's All Folks" image on the renamed NT Wrong blog.

In that case James F Mcgrath, let me spell it out. I wrote on J. West's blog that "You are talking about yourself of course" referring to his statement about Morton Smith: "If he lied to make a point once, there’s no reason to believe he wouldn’t do it as often as he had opportunity." And I have every reason to believe that pastor, professor, Dr (whatever title) J West will not be open about who N T Wrong is.

And even if william-dever agrees to take sides with Jimmy's minimalists, I would still not believe that someone who claimed to be an archaeologist would be so idiotisyncratic to write a book 100Piss... "i_am_really_morton_smith"

The implications of this are staggering.

Up until now, I had believed that Smith had pulled the Secret Gospel out of his ass. However, now we know that NT Wrong is Morton Smith. And we know, through Roland Boer, that NT Wrong has no anus. Obviously, Morton Smith couldn't have pulled the Secret Gospel out of something he doesn't have.

I must now rethink everything.

One may well wonder why NTW = JG changed william_dever the name of a living professor to the name of morton_smith deceased. May be NTW = JG could sleep a little easier.

Jimmy certainly seems to find it easier to call a dead person a liar. It's like playing "what's the time Mr Wolf?" when the wolf has had his dinner, or in the case of morton_smith 'his chips'.

If you follow the link, it seems that JG is coming round to my point of view when he refers to "Jesus" by the term I frequently use, "the prophet", where I really mean Judas - the central character of Josephus' original writings who changed Jewish history forever, but not by fighting Romans.

No 'Steph', apparently I am Norman Golb according to a link supposedly given by one Stephen Carlson here:

http://www.freeratio.org/showthread.php?t=259846

And the link takes one to the site managed by Jimmy - the Council Mebmber with a minimal brain:

http://minimalists.wordpress.com/2009/01/13/breaking-news-2/

This is the sludge Jimmy wrote:

"Those who have been around long enough will know that the mad hatter of biblical studies lists, blogs, and online resources, one Geoff Hudson, has long asserted that Jeffrey Gibson is each and every named list owner. Mad Mr (or perhaps Miss) Hudson actually asserts that Gibson is list owner of the ANE 2 list, the Biblical Studies list, Crosstalk 2, and Paul. Not only that, but Miss Hudson also asserts that Gibson actually debates himself and is the only list participant to post on any of these lists! That insanity and inanity aside, our crack team of researchers have discovered that Mr Hudson is actually Norman Golb! This explains so very much. From hence, then, when you encounter Hudson simply substitute Golb and you’ll have it right."

Now I think Jimmy really meant to say "cracked" team.

As for Norman Golb, he is a hero of mine. I just think he aught to be more outspoken than he already is. He is right when he says the Scrolls were brought to the caves near Qumran and deposited there around the time of the Roman intervention, in say 66 CE (NT/JG). They could only have been preserved there by the mainstream priesthood of the day. That says a great deal about the type of folk who were occupying the Qumran complex. They were aristocratic friends of the high priests, probably high priests themselves. And of course the site was easily adapted to its original design purpose of a fortress. No doubt the forge there used for glassmaking was easily adapted to forging metal for weapons. Josephus' original description of the battle for Qumran was changed by Flavian historians to the battle for Jotapata. It was the high priest Jonathan who surrendered to Neronian forces at Qumran. The Flavian historians changed that to Josephus surendering at Jotapata. In reality, Josephus was Nero's historian, not Vespasian's.

NTW = JG is never too far away is he Steven 'from the North East'? - don't be fooled by the concocted blog. Jimmy you should also do a video interview with 'Steven Carr', but then you don't talk to folk with the 'wrong' qualifications. And of course Steven has to have no qualifications to be one of Jeffrey's aliases. So he doesn't publish any papers or even do any real activity apart from being a puffs of gas in the ether, from his creator's anus that is.

How is it possible to make that worse?

Perhaps DJ Oetzi should cover it as well, just to finish it off?

Blogger Geoff Hudson said...

It's the promise of Jeffrey's noise to reduce the signal to noise ratio.

Steven Carr is to JG is as NTW is to JG is as Toto is to JG is as Jesus is to Judas.

So Jeffrey, you shouldn't say, "thank you Jesus" or "thank you the Prophet", or even "thank you Judas" but "thank you Spirit of the Lord" to be theologically correct before 70 CE. The original NT documents were all about the Spirit of the Lord, not the fictitious Jesus, or the real prophet Judas who was indeed the focus of Josephus' original writings.
