Jesus in an Age of Terror (N. America)
It seems as if Jesus in an Age of Terror might be more easily available to those in N. America via Oxbow/David Brown, the US distributor for Equinox.

Thanks for this, James. I may request that our library order the book through this source, since we have a couple of patrons who have been chomping at the bit to read it.

Thanks Loren. Incidentally, I responded on the Nashua library blog but I'm not sure it's worked.

Okay -- it may take a few days for the comment to be approved. Today's my day off, and I'm not sure if the blog moderator is in or not.

Jesus in the Age of Amazon.
So I order the book I don't know how long ago and Amazon sends me an email today asking if I still want it. Yes I respond as patiently as I am able. Maybe I should have said no and ordered through another outlet?
Well, I imagine there will still be terror in the world by the time I finally receive it so it won't be out of date.

enjoyed the book, very provocative - was wondering what you thought about the strain of New Testament scholarship that arose out of the haggadic Midrash studies of Wolfgang Roth over twenty years ago. I had in mind articles like Robert M. Price's "New Testament Narrative as Old Testament Midrash" http://www.robertmprice.mindvendor.com/art_midrash1.htm
and John MacDonald's "The Pious Fraud" at www.caseagainstfaith.com under the submissions section. Any thoughts?
